Your brain on ramp

One of the many that are going to be featured in the ramp fundraiser show that we plan to have in March.  By ramp I mean mini-ramp, not me.  Theres going to be art by many others too and hopefully some eats to stay tuned for more news, dates, location etc. This is acrylic on illustration board.

Mother’s Worry

A fun piece about my brother Jeremiah.  The idea was to illustrate somebody’s life story based on five objects that represent who that person is or where they have come from.  I first created the black line work with india ink and painted everything in color on a separate piece  of paper. Then I scanned them in, overlapped them with photoshop and printed it on a fatty piece of that super rough coldpress.

Back in action with more goods

After a load of difficulties I have finally harnessed the power of the internet.  More pieces on the way.  Final one the left, comp on the right. I shot reference pics and painted with acrylic on paper.  The painting on the right was a beggining tester/color comp to see how the acrylic works when using it like a soaking wet watercolor.
